Kainchi Dham

Kainchi Dham, nestled in the tranquil hills of Nainital district, is a spiritually significant ashram founded by the revered saint Neem Karoli Baba in the 1960s. Bijrani

Bijrani, just 2 km from Ramnagar, a short drive through a buffer zone takes you to a tapestry of sunlit “chaurs”, streams lined with dense Sal forest, and hidden waterholes. From mid-October to June, two daily jeep safaris (30 vehicles per shift) and occasional elephant rides show off a wide variety of animals. These include tigers, leopards, elephants, sloth bears, deer, and more than 600 birds. You can stay at one of the two rustic Forest Rest Houses: Bijrani and Malani, for a completely connected-to-nature experience.

This zone of Jim Corbett is situated in the Southern area of the park and is notable for easy wildlife spotting in its thick forest. It's one of the prominent places to visit in Jim Corbett as in this area of the park you will be lucky to see animals like nilgai, sambhar, cheetal, in their natural habitat. Further, here, you can also locate a good population of wild elephants and sloth bears.
